Way back last year a friend and I, we met through WiRE, had a coffee, a slice of cake and an idea!

A location, a jeweller, a dress designer, a model & a make -up artist & photographer, among others, all coming together to create a fine art wedding story.

Gilly, from Gilly Page Jewellery, had been experimenting with producing bespoke wedding crowns, perfectly complementing the lovely individual pieces of jewellery that she sells through her Etsy shop. I had been busy readying The Yurt & The Annex for my first spring season and there we go, an idea was formed.

Between us we concocted a plan and got moving.

A learning curve to say the least with lots of extra obstacles, delays and Storm Doris to set us back. We did it, at the end of March, with dappled sunlight filtering through the trees, the beautiful Tor in a stunning dress made by The Little Wedding Shop, The Yurt dressed, the cheese wedding cake, provided by Mr Moydens, subtly decorated, we had old, new, borrowed and blue.

A big thank you to everyone who played a part in the day, please have a look at our Partners page and Location page for more information.
