Things to do

Well, where do I start? A very short list for you below.

The Ironbridge Gorge, the heart of the industrial revolution, home to the famous Ironbridge and a quietly proud UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ironbridge Gorge Museums are enough for all of the family to enjoy over a few days and each one steeped in history.

Walking Locally

Below is a link to walking trail leaflets from Severn Gorge Countryside Trust. Blists Hill to Ironbridge Trail can be done from the door of The Barn at Lees Farm.

Walking trail leaflets

I can highly recommend this for a day out if you SUP and have your own board. This guided river tour is great for teaching you to be safe and learn some good skills for River Supping.

Trains can be caught to Telford or Shifnal. Both approximately 10 minutes from The Barn at Lees Farm. Link to Trainline below. There is a cycle path directly from Telford that passes within 100m of the driveway. The link to The Silkin Way is below also.

Things to do

You don’t even have to leave to see what wonderful wildlife we have surrounding us. These sheets are available on request and will be left in the accommodation for children who are staying. There is a magnifying glass and also a bird spotting kit in The Yurt.
